DENVER, Colo., Sept 26, 2023 (www.247marketnews.com)- The following stocks are the top performing U.S. stocks over the past week; Vaccitech (NASDAQ:VACC), Lifezone Metals (NYSE:LZM), Globus Maritime Ltd. (NASDAQ:GLBS), Siyata Mobile (NASDAQ:SYTA), ESS Tech (NYSE:GWH), and Tango Therapeutics (NASDAQ:TNGX).
Vaccitech (NASDAQ:VACC) opened trading last Tuesday at $1.68 and traded very lightly until yesterday, when it opened at $1.64, a new 52-week low, but then, like someone flipped the switch, it took off to hit a high of $4.35, a new 52-week high. It closed at $3.16, up $1.48 (+88.1%), on 39.4M shares traded. It’s 85.71% higher for the 5-day period.
Its most recent announcement was “Vaccitech to Host KOL Webinar on Seeking a Functional Cure for Chronic Hepatitis B on September 20, 2023” September 13, 2023.
Ideally, we’d like to see this consolidate at $3, or better, so that it can attempt to make another wave higher.
Lifezone Metals (NYSE:LZM) opened trading last Tuesday at $11.94 and traded sideways until Friday, when it took off and hit $19. It’s been trying to hold some of those gains, as it closed yesterday at $15.80, down $0.95 (-5.76%), on 182.52K shares traded. It’s 75.57% higher for the 5-day period.
Its most recent announcement was “Lifezone Metals Announces Publication of H1 2023 Financial Results and Shareholder Letter” September 20, 2023
This needs to consolidate soon, or it’s in jeopardy of rolling over.
Globus Maritime Ltd. (NASDAQ:GLBS) opened trading last Tuesday at $1.12 and has traded mostly higher on a multiple wave move, during that timeframe. Yesterday, it opened at $1.49 and closed near its $1.73 high, at $1.72, up $0.23 (+88.1%), on 1.08M shares traded. It’s 65.12% higher for the 5-day period.
Its most recent announcement was “Globus Maritime Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Shareholders” September 21, 2023
It just missed hitting a new 52-week high by $0.0053, yesterday, and if it can break through that resistance from last October, on strong volume, it should make a run at the $2-2.50 resistance from the Spring of 2022.
Siyata Mobile (NASDAQ:SYTA) opened trading last Tuesday at $2.00 and appears to be bouncing off its 52-week lows. It closed at $2.60, up $0.17 (+7.00%), on 81.3K shares traded. It’s 30% higher for the 5-day period.
Its most recent announcement was “Siyata Mobile Announces Follow-On Order from Large North American Waste Management Provider” September 18, 2023
It’s broken the downward trend on the one-month chart and is getting close to doing the same on the six-month chart. It’s trying to clear a pathway to the $3.50 level.
ESS Tech (NYSE:GWH) opened trading last Tuesday at $1.36 and was yo-yoing until yesterday, when it opened at $1.39 and closed at the high of the day, at $1.76, up $0.36 (+25.90%), on 8.03M shares traded. It’s 28.68% higher for the 5-day period.
Its most recent announcement was “Honeywell and ESS Tech, Inc. Collaborate to Accelerate Commercial Deployment of Iron Flow Battery Energy Storage Systems” September 25, 2023
If this breaks the $1.68 support level, this run is likely over.
Tango Therapeutics (NASDAQ:TNGX) opened trading last Tuesday at $9.03 and was actually trending slightly lower, until a volume spike late Thursday changed the dynamics. It took off Friday and, yesterday, hit a new 52-week high of $11.25, before closing at $11.15, up $0.83 (+8.04%), on 2.13M shares traded. It’s 23.67% higher for the 5-day period.
Its most recent announcement was “Tango Therapeutics to Highlight Preclinical Data on Precision Oncology Pipeline at AACR-NCI-EORTC International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics” September 18, 2023
The close near the high, especially a new 52-week high, was very bullish and this looks like it may begin to challenge the late 2021 trading levels.
