DENVER, Colo., Nov 10, 2023 (www.247marketnews.com)- The following companies were among the listings that we covered this week; Cardio Diagnostics (NASDAQ: CDIO), MSP Recovery Inc (NASDAQ: LIFW), PaxMedica (NASDAQ: PXMD), Intelligent Bio Solutions (NASDAQ: INBS), Blink Charging’s (NASDAQ: BLNK), and Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR).
We expect the news to slow down during earnings report season, but the drop in non-report updates is larger than we expected.
In last week’s wrap, we mentioned that a surprising number of the small-cap runners that we covered were nicely following through for longer term runs and we’ll cover a few of those.
Monday
Our week started by covering Organigram Holdings (NASDAQ: OGI) receiving a C$124.6 million follow-on strategic equity investment from BT DE Investments Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of British American Tobacco PLC (NYSE: BTI). Organigram Holdings was trading at $1.31, up $0.15 (+12.93%), on 145.2K premarket shares traded, when we covered the news, and it hit a premarket high of $1.72. It pulled back to open the regular trading session at $1.52, hit its regular session high of $1.60, fifteen minutes into the session and spent the rest of the day drifting down to close at $1.38, up $0.22 (+18.97%), on trading volume of 43,449,192 shares.
After spotting and covering Cardio Diagnostics (NASDAQ: CDIO) last week, when it was 30-cents, we noticed that was on the move, again, when it was trading at $0.50, up $0.13 (+34.35%), on 5.7M shares traded. It hit its $0.775 high just before lunch, held on to most of its gains to close at $0.68, up $0.3056 (+81.62%), on 104,142,617 shares traded, and traded higher in afterhours trading.
We were happy to see that the day’s big winner was MSP Recovery Inc (NASDAQ: LIFW), which we covered last week when it was trading at $2.78. It skyrocketed to $17.4798, before closing at $9.65, up $6.91 (+252.19%), on 64,047,534 shares traded.
Tuesday
Since we were late covering PaxMedica’s (NASDAQ: PXMD) peer-reviewed journal publication news, we waited for it to pullback from its $6.90 premarket high and covered it when it was trading at $5.87, up $2.82 (+92.46%) on 5.55M premarket shares. We cautioned that PXMD’s pattern has been popping and losing most of its gains in the same day.
Despite a few trading halts PXMD hit a $10.26 high, about 25 minutes into the regular trading session, and it mostly drifted down from there to close at $4.50, up $1.45 (+47.54%), on trading volume of 35,202,542 shares.
Wednesday
While most listings weren’t very exciting in the regular session, but some of the that we covered earlier in the week, like Senti’s (NASDAQ: SNTI) news on Tuesday and it followed through on Wednesday. It hit a 74-cent high and closed at $0.68 (+30.77%), on 28,637,059 shares traded, and Cardio Diagnostics (NASDAQ: CDIO) continued to run on Tuesday and by Wednesday it hit a high of $1.82.

It hit a high of $0.7806, about two hours later, and closed at $0.437, up $0.21 (+92.51%), on trading volume of 220,987,259 shares.
Friday
We covered Blink Charging’s (NASDAQ: BLNK) third quarter financial results, when it was trading at $2.76, up $0.30 (+12.2%) on 250K premarket shares. We stated that its setup was favorable to move above $3. It opened at $2.87, hit a high of $3.40, and closed at $3.07, up $0.61 (+24.80%), on 20,554,021 shares traded.
We spotted AVITA Medical’s (NASDAQ: RCEL) move when it was trading at $1.20, up $0.50 (+70.70%), on 15.89M shares traded. It hit a $2.04 high, but the multiple trading halts killed its momentum an it closed at $1.31, up $0.623 (+90.68%), on 71,870,181 shares traded.
Marpai Inc (NASDAQ: MRAI) was trading at $0.57, up $0.18 (+48.3%), on 26.1M shares traded, when we mentioned their trading. It mostly traded sideways for the next 90 minutes, then shot up to 90-cents and closed at $0.6845, at $0.3058 (+80.75%), on 53,847,052 shares traded. It’s trading higher in afterhours trading, currently at 74-cents.

VIZIO Holding Corp (NYSE: VZIO) is trading at $6.65, up $1.37 (+25.96%), on 1.63M shares traded.
As we stated in the intro, a bunch of the listings that we covered last week were following through, this week. A few examples include BioXcel Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: BTAI), Cellectis (NASDAQ: CLLS), TG Therapeutics (NASDAQ: TGTX), and Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR), which looks poised to hit a new 52-week high after its Q3 report included raising its outlook.
